Time to wrap up the 3rd MedCyclones Workshop & Training school 🌀 co-organized by European Space Agency - ESA and COST Action CA19109 MedCyclones. Yesterday the students presented their very nice work by comparing atmospheric and thermodynamic aspects of #MedCyclones using forecasts and analysis data. Thanks to them and to all for coming. Special thanks to the cost action organizing commitee for a successful event, in particular Emmanouil (Manos) Flaounas and Silvio Davolio.

We are there! This morning I had the privilege to launch the 3rd MedCyclone Workshop and Training School at #esa #esrin co-organised by #esa and the #costaction #Medcyclone🌀. The Training School started with a very nice interactive quizz for students asking them which keywords they think about while evoking medicanes, #italianfood was one of there favorites 😄. More to come in the upcoming days where #earthobservation are crucial tools to better understand #cyclone and their impacts on our lives and society. Nice to also reunite with some colleagues I was working with few years ago. Thanks for coming. #esa #cyclone #impact #forecast #science
