On Monday, 22 July 2024, Marines from MCTOG’s Intelligence Department traveled with V34 to the MCAGCC training area to experiment with establishing High Bandwidth communications using MCTOG's StarShield system. High bandwidth satellite systems allow units in the field to exercise freedom of movement while maintaining connections to data-hungry systems in the rear.

From 25-29 June 2024, Dr. Kim Munoz represented MCTOG at the Joint Woman's Leadership Symposium, hosted by the Sea Service Leadership Association in Arlington, VA. Centered around the theme "Strength Through Service," the event showcased panel discussions, service-specific breakout sessions, and keynote addresses from esteemed women senior leaders. Topics explored included inclusion, women in non-traditional roles, challenges faced by military families, and leadership characterized by compassion.

Passing of the Torch Today marks a very big change for the Marine Corps Tactics & Operations Group as Col Brian D. Greene passed Command to former Executive Officer, LtCol William P. Sumption. At the end of the Change of Command Ceremony, Col Greene was awarded the Legion of Merit by MAGTFTC, MCAGCC Commanding General, Major General Thomas B. Savage. Col Greene will now travel to Okinawa, Japan, where he will assume the duties of III MEF Assistant Chief of Staff G-3. Fair Winds and Following Seas Sir!
