Mercedes-Benz of Richmond Donates Books to Local Health Institutions We're dedicated to promoting safety on and off the road. We are thrilled to announce our partnership with Safe Kids Worldwide to present “Clifford Takes a Ride,” a new book from the beloved “Clifford the Big Red Dog” series by Scholastic. This book shares essential car safety tips, making it a valuable resource for families. As part of this initiative, Mercedes-Benz of Richmond and Midlothian donated 200 books and plush toys to local health institutions: 100 to the Children's Hospital of Richmond at VCU, 50 to the Sheltering Arms Institute, and 50 to ASK Childhood Cancer Foundation This effort is part of our corporate social responsibility program, which we have grown through community engagement in local sports, education, health, and culture.

We are thrilled to announce that Joe Norris has been promoted to general manager at Mercedes-Benz of Richmond. Joe previously served as the pre-owned sales manager and has 17 years of automotive industry experience, all in Richmond. He has worked for various luxury brands throughout his career, like BMW, Porsche, Infiniti, and Mercedes-Benz. He graduated from John Tyler Community College with a degree in Business Management. He enjoys spending time with his wife and two kids and playing golf and tennis. Mike Rosen, who previously served as our dealership’s finance manager, has also been promoted to new car sales manager. Mike has been with the organization for eight years, starting as a sales & leasing consultant and working his way up. He is a Virginia Tech graduate with a degree in Political Science and National Security. He is a baseball and hockey fan and enjoys spending time with his wife and baby girl. Shahul Usman is now our pre-owned sales manager. With 22 years of experience in the automotive industry, he has worked with top brands like Porsche, Audi, Volvo, and Mercedes-Benz in various roles, including sales, general management, finance, and customer assistance. Shahul is a big Formula 1 fan and enjoys watching NFL football. He is also an animal lover with three rescue cats. Join us in congratulating Joe, Mike, and Shahul!

We are thrilled to have once again been a part of the Fred Funk and Friends Golf Gala at Kanawha Golf Club for the third consecutive year. This year, players tested their golf skills for a chance to win an all-electric EQB SUV in our exciting hole-in-one contest. All 20 threesomes were joined by an additional player, one of 27 PGA Tour Champions Pro that played in the tournament, fostering camaraderie and sharing valuable golf tips and tricks. Shane Bertsch was the golf pro who played in the Mercedes-Benz of Richmond team. We had a fantastic time spending the day with him.
