He brings more than 30 years with the union and experience as a laborer, carpenter, and a traveling superintendent. Rob earned a bachelor’s in accounting from Missouri Baptist. He joins our team as a Laborer helping jobsites in the St. Louis area and is happy to be home with family locally. When asked what he was most excited about, Rob said, “A great new beginning with a company that’s new to me but with peers I know, too.” Welcome, Rob Humphres!

The team at Ignite is thrilled as footings are near finished and another milestone is complete. The site boasts finished main utilities, storm system, and the underground pad is beginning. We even caught the last portion of the turn lane being poured. “They’re kicking butt.” Explains Sr. Project Engineer, Devin Schrieber. “Scharf Construction is excellent to work with. They’re super friendly and I’m excited to see how they can help make this happen.” This Ignite Medical Resorts development in St. Peters will be one-story of 79 rehabilitation units. Next up? Outstanding. This is how we describe the 2024 summer interns. By immersing students in real site experience, we hope to mold them into strong construction managers. Both rising seniors knocked it out of the park this summer in learning and contributing the team. This week they wrapped up with a formal presentation recapping their work and lunch with the principals. Alex Unnerstall and Luke Bunkers are outstanding and we wish them luck as they finish at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and University of Missouri-Columbia respectively. Plan on seeing them around...we're big fans. HUGE. Way to #RaiseTheBar and #MakeItHappen!

Peak is happy to share we have closed on our acquistion of 3.95 acres in the City of Westfield, Indiana at the intersection of US 31 and 191st St. Westfield is the fastest growing city in the state of Indiana and we are working on a development for one of our national c store clients who will take the whole site. We love Westfield so much that a year ago we decided to partner with our friends at Mia Rose Holdings, LLC who are finishing up our 250 unit apartment complex less than one mile north of our 3.95 acre site. The James at Chatham Hills (https://lnkd.in/g5W8yHxt) is a 250 unit luxury multifamily community built by our friends at Midas Construction. The first units will be open this month!
