Women going through menopause make up one of the largest segments of the global workforce, yet they're one of the populations least supported by status-quo healthcare. Nearly 3 in 4 women who seek help for their symptoms go untreated, leading to more than $150 billion in global productivity losses annually. Last week, our founder & CEO Kate Ryder joined Scarlet Fu and Romaine Bostick, CFA on Bloomberg News to discuss the latest trends in employer menopause benefits, why menopause is a health equity issue, and the need for comprehensive support during this stage of life. "At some point trying becomes aching, becomes longing, becomes praying, and in some ways, is the ultimate act of faith. Maybe hope is the best word. It often is, because hope still comes with doubt. I'm just hoping that their hope does not run out.” In case you missed his viral Instagram post this week, we love this poem from World Poetry Slam Champ Harry Baker (@harrybakerpoet), which beautifully and honestly captures the emotions that so many experience on the fertility journey. If you're currently trying, or if you know someone who's trying, take a few minutes to watch this video—you won't regret it. 💚 (shared with permission from Harry Baker)
