Gaming Apps Spent $29 Billion on User Acquisition in 2023💰💥 The US continued to dominate gaming ad spend—by a large margin, contributing $6.6 billion on iOS and $5.5 billion on Android, outpacing the next 10 markets combined! Japan followed in Asia with $1.8 billion on iOS and $1.2 billion on Android, with South Korea coming in third. But that's just one trend we saw in our State of Gaming App Marketing - 2024 Edition. In honor of National Hispanic Heritage Month, we wanted to share a recent conversation with Horacio Gavilan at Hispanic Marketing Council and their #stoplatinocoating campaign with our MAU marketing and advertising community. Here are a few stats from their market guide available for download on their website, https://lnkd.in/dsR_P7si. - 71% of U.S. Latinos are bilingual - Bilingual audiences are 2.5x more likely to share ads that use multiple languages with friends/family - They are 3x more loyal to brands that advertise in Spanish - 66% of Bilingual users appreciate ads that have cultural references to my day-to day-life, not just special occasions (e.g., holidays, heritage month) - 71% want to see more ads with celebrities from my culture - 63% want to see more ads with influencers or creators from my culture The guide also digs into their spending, media and gaming habits. We look forward to sharing more insights from the Hispanic Marketing Council, and create more opportunities for mobile app marketers to find brand success with U.S. Latinos, who have the fifth highest global GDP, ahead of India, UK and France.
