Today, NCAN & other higher ed access & attainment organizations sent a letter to the U.S. Department of Education stating our preference for a delayed 2025-26 FAFSA that functions well & is accompanied by a outreach & communications tools rather than an error-ridden, unreliable form that meets the October 1 deadline. Recently, it has become clear that there is no path to an October 1 FAFSA release that is well-tested & fully functional. Rushing to launch the form on time could lead to many of the same issues that we experienced this past year. https://lnkd.in/eeEuqmBw
