Martie, a startup selling overstock of shelf-stable food products online, is raising a $3 million to $4 million extension, CEO Louise Fritjofsson told Axios. Why it matters: The company aims to save products from landfill and sell discounted healthier food so it can be accessed by lower-income families. Catch up quick: Martie has already raised a total of $6.5 million via a pre-seed in 2021 and a seed in 2022.
