Our beneficiaries are hard at work in our community, and with your help, we can provide the resources to push their good work forward. We did it – together! See you next year!

About us
Makefield Women’s Association (MWA) is a local nonprofit composed of a diverse group of women dedicated to raising funds and providing services to individuals in need. Each year through a nominating and voting process, members select a group of local nonprofits to be Annual Beneficiaries. With these organizations in mind, MWA gets to work hosting fundraising events and collecting donations for the year. At year-end, all proceeds are distributed to the beneficiaries to support their continued service and contributions to the community. Members of MWA not only raise funds for local nonprofits, but we also support these organizations through donation drives and volunteer work – an essential component of MWA’s mission to serve the community. MWA is actively involved in meal making for Caring for Friends, organizing events for the young residents of FSA’s Homeless Shelter, keeping their three-mile stretch of Edgewood Road in Lower Makefield clean through Adopt-a-Highway, and many more. Members build relationships and stay connected through service and social events. Volunteering together or enjoying a night out with MWA allows like-minded people who share the same passion for service in their community to connect. MWA invites any woman in the local area to join us in serving our community. We meet the first Wednesday of each month at 7 pm in Yardley, PA.
