Photography has the power to evoke emotions, tell stories, and capture the beauty of the world around us. Today we celebrate our volunteer photographers who help us catch those special moments when a Wish Child’s wish is granted.

As back-to-school season approaches, we’re cheering on the incredible kids who fundraise for Make-A-Wish to help make life-changing wishes come true for children with critical illnesses. Through the Kids For Wish Kids program, students restore hope and joy for wish kids while building school spirit and making everlasting memories. On Saturday, August 10th we celebrated the 75th Anniversary of the Monroe Township Volunteer Fire Department! Monroe Township is our home, and our firefighting friends have always answered our call to help grant wishes. Thank you, Monroe Township Volunteer Fire Department, for hosting such a fun day for the community. Special shoutout to Wish Alumni Donald, Giselle, and their families for helping us celebrate our amazing local firefighters!

On this special day, International Youth Day, we celebrate and honor the youth in our communities. One group, the Forever Five, consists of five girls who recently hosted a lemonade and food stand at the local tennis courts. Their efforts raised an impressive $623! When asked about their choice to donate the proceeds to Make-A-Wish New Jersey, they simply stated, “we wanted to make a difference for someone in need.” It's inspiring to see young individuals like them dreaming big and reaching for the stars.

Isaac was introduced to Make-A-Wish when his family learned that he was eligible for a wish and felt like he was in a dream when his wish to meet Chris Pratt came true. Isaac's wish made a life-changing difference for him by giving him a unique and memorable experience. It has inspired him to consider pursuing a career in acting and comedy, with dreams of moving to LA and giving back to children in need.
