    Mainline Industry Spotlight - Part 2: The Critical Need for Differentiation in OFS Companies This new regime demands a reevaluation of how OFS firms approach their commercial strategies. The need for differentiation through the eyes of each stakeholder has never been more critical, especially as buying decisions become more formalized (RFPs) and require diverse stakeholder engagement (engineering, procurement, product champion). OFS companies must now adopt a disciplined and unified approach to competitive positioning, underpinned by a deep understanding of their unique value proposition across each stakeholder (ie. field, engineering, management) . This understanding must extend beyond the immediate competitive landscape to encompass the higher-level needs of E&P's and the specific pain points of each stakeholder.
