Minicheck, 1952 in 001 Black/White and Checker, 1965 in 008 Black/White by Alexander Girard, shown here at Eames Institute. First produced by Herman Miller, where Girard had founded the textile division with Charles Eames and George Nelson, Girard's archival designs have been faithfully reissued by Maharam as part of Textiles of the 20th Century.
