I had a great time attending Samsara Beyond 2024 in Chicago, IL! I shared insights on how I forged many of my partnerships and created thousands of jobs opportunities in local communities. Thank you to Samsara Co-Founder and CEO Sanjit Biswas and the 2,500 Samsara customers and employees in attendance for having me today!

I want to thank Dow Chairman and CEO Jim Fitterling for putting on one of the best diversity and inclusion events I’ve ever been a part of - SOAR: Inclusion, Diversity, Equity and Leadership Summit held at the LPGA Tour’s Dow Championship in Midland, MI. A special thank you to Dow Chief Inclusion Officer Dr. Alveda Williams the Midland and Saginaw business leaders, community leaders, and all of the kids that attended from different organizations across the state for having me today. I always enjoy coming home to Michigan and really wanted to inspire the crowd about the importance of DE&I and why we have to keep it going. I also reminded the students that just because you grow up poor doesn’t mean you have to have poor dreams and a good education can change your life forever. I enjoyed seeing Dr. Dr. Tucker and Dallas Mavericks CEO Cynthia Marshall with Dr. Alveda Williams. Cynthia Marshall is so impressive and the Mavericks success is a direct result of her leadership!

Today, I spoke to over 3,000 veterinarians in a jam-packed arena at the American Veterinarian Medical Association (AVMA (American Veterinary Medical Association) Conference in Austin, Texas! My message today was about transitioning from the basketball court to the boardroom and the highlight for me was answering questions from the young up-and-coming veterinarians. Cookie and I have two dogs, so we know how important it is to have a good veterinarian! I met a few of the African-American veterinarians in attendance and was sure to thank them for their work and let them know I was so proud of them! A huge thank you to AVMA for having me!

I was excited to be back with my Cigna Healthcare family today at the beautiful Kiawah Island Golf Resort! I gave a motivational speech to some of Cigna’s top high-value agents across North America for the Individual and Family Plans market. Thank you to my great friend and Cigna President Mike Triplett as always for having me!

I had an unbelievable experience yesterday at Infosys Connect 2024 in Austin, Texas and felt a shower of love from over 1500 sales leaders from around the globe! I enjoyed talking about turning obstacles into success stories in my life, both on the basketball court and in business. I want to thank all the attendees for being an amazing audience and going wild when I got off stage! A big thank you to Infosys CEO Salil Parekh and Infosys AVP of Marketing Madan Gopal for having me!

Yesterday evening I had the pleasure of speaking at Arizona State University for their “Building History: Continuing the Legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.” event with my company, SodexoMagic! The audience was filled with students, faculty, administrators, and local government officials including Mayor Kate Gallego! I was honored to commit $25K to each ASU Black African Coalition leader, and have SodexoMagic President Charles Johnson announce a $50K donation to ASU Difference Engine while learning he was appointed to the board! Making a difference in the next generation's lives is important to me, and I love it when I can put action towards that purpose. Thank you to ASU for having me!

We’re thrilled to add Grady Hospital Systems to our growing footprint in Atlanta, GA! We are currently partnered with Delta Sky Clubs, Delta Airlines Headquarters, The Federal Reserve, Salesforce, American Airlines and the new American Express Centurion Lounge in Atlanta Hartsfield-Jackson Airport. Grady Hospital Systems will continue to take our business to new heights for years to come.

So inspiring to see 11 leading sports leagues and organizations come together to amplify the message of the “Love, Your Mind” campaign. Today I had the pleasure of speaking to 2,000 HR leaders and executives from around the world at the UNLEASH America conference in Vegas. It was simply amazing! The room was electric and I delivered a message on the conference theme - courageous leadership! What a thrill it was for me to give the keynote address yesterday at the American Association of Airport Executives Conference & Exposition in Nashville, Tennessee! About 3000 executives from across the country attended the event, and I spoke about basketball and my business experience in the airport industry through my company SodexoMagic, which has partnered with Delta Airlines, American Airlines, and American Express!
