In the midst of unimaginable heartbreak, one young girl found a beacon of hope thanks to Lisa Rosati, BSN. After suffering severe burns and the loss of her parent and beloved cat in a house fire, this brave girl struggled to trust anyone. Lisa, a compassionate nurse with 25 years at the Regional Burn Center, broke through her emotional barriers, offering not just care but genuine kindness. During Easter week, Lisa brought her an Easter basket and organized a heartwarming Easter egg hunt throughout the unit, filling the day with joy and connection. Lisa’s dedication made a lasting impact and was a true example of going above and beyond. #RealLifeHero #EverydayHeroes

Exciting News! 🎉 Yesterday, we proudly cut the ribbon at the brand-new LVHN Childcare Center in partnership with River Crossing YMCA! Located at Westgate Mall in Bethlehem, this state-of-the-art facility provides LVHN colleagues with much-needed childcare services. The 10,000-square-foot facility includes nine age-appropriate classrooms, a multipurpose room for indoor gross motor activities, a full kitchen and two outdoor playground areas. The center is part of the comprehensive health network built just for kids at Lehigh Valley Reilly Children’s Hospital. “LVHN surveys our colleagues annually to collect feedback about how we can make LVHN an even better place to work,” said Jim Miller, President of Lehigh Valley Hospital–Muhlenberg, which is located adjacent to the center. “In recent surveys, colleagues expressed the need for greater access to childcare, and we are proud to give our colleagues what they asked for.” Learn more about our partnership with River Crossing YMCA: https://bit.ly/46lvA1V.

🌟 Matt Yorski, RN, went above and beyond for his patient. When his patient lost part of his leg in a car accident, he was anxious about his future and needed a job he could do from home. Matt listened, got him a refurbished laptop, and personally delivered it to his home.
