🎓 Celebrating the Leadership Tomorrow Class of 2024 🌟 Congratulations to the Leadership Tomorrow Class of 2024 on your recent graduation! For the past 10 months, you practiced curiosity, leaned into the zone of productive disequilibrium, and built lifelong relationships that will help you drive change in our community. Here’s what a few graduates said about their LT experience: “Through this program, I learned the value of mindfulness and presence in leadership. This experience highlighted the power of direct engagement and building authentic relationships, showing that tough conversations become more approachable when we recognize our shared humanity.” -Jamshid Bayandor, LT’24, Jacobs   “Over this past year I’ve developed better language to describe my leadership values and style, grown in my understanding of the multifaceted issues facing our communities, and built true relationships with the most incredible group of BIPOC professionals I’ve had the pleasure to be a part of.” -Cindil Redick-Ponte, LT’24, Washington State Department of Health   “Starting LT, one of my goals was to challenge my understanding of how to bring along those who may not share the same perspective as I have on equity. Through conversations with the IPOC caucus and my women of color colleagues, I feel refreshed and energized to continue tackling this issue professionally and personally. Most of all, I value all the connections we’ve made this year and look forward to growing our relationships in the years to come! -Angela Bahng, LT’24, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation Cheers to the LT’24 cohort—your future is bright, and your potential is limitless! 🌟

✨Engaged leadership is the foundation of thriving communities. ✨ For 40 years, Leadership Tomorrow has worked at the forefront of civic engagement to cultivate a network of inclusive, courageous, and curious leaders across Puget Sound. As we celebrate this special milestone, we are proud to highlight stories from LT alumni who continue to shape our region into a vibrant, vital community where all can thrive. For our eighth story, we are pleased to feature Michaela Geronima Doelman, LT’22. Here’s how LT expanded Michaela’s already strong understanding of our region’s challenges and opportunities: "LT helped me see how important it is to listen to the community most impacted by challenges as the one with the best insights into future opportunities that will work. I also developed a greater understanding for why partnerships between public, private, and nonprofit sectors are vital for addressing big problems like affordable housing, environmental justice, and public safety. LT helped me grow from a baseline theoretical understanding of problems and opportunities, exposed me to people who shared lived experiences, impacts and successes, and ignited a curiosity in me to stay involved at the community and government levels to make impact." 🎉Read Michaela's inspiring story here: https://lnkd.in/ghPARZ6f Don't forget to register for our 40th Anniversary Celebration and Fundraiser so you can enjoy more inspiring stories like this! 🎟 Secure your spot for LT’s biggest event of the decade ➡ https://lnkd.in/g3Ms6usj

When asked to reflect on the impact of LT on his leadership and life, Bob said: In my nearly retired phase of life, I consider engaging in the following activities—improbable and unexpected as some are—as profound delights from my time with LT: 🔹 Serving on the board of the National Community Leadership Association. 🔹 Working with executive teams in many of the region’s most important and successful corporations. 🔹 Co-consulting with an LT colleague to establish the National Arts Organization of Mongolia. 🔹 Creating diverse, multi-ethnic Russian-American teams that focused on inclusion and diversity through training and conferences in both Vladivostok and Seattle, which resulted in a Leadership Vladivostok program. 🔹 Serving as trustee or board officer on philanthropic and nonprofit boards. 🔹 Co-creating the Global Leadership Forum, which focuses on leadership development for social purpose organizations—now commencing its 21st cohort! 🔹 My dear and close friendships that were developed through Leadership Tomorrow. I count on this trusted network of community leaders throughout our region and beyond for input and assistance. ➡ Read Bob’s incredible story here: https://lnkd.in/gWVpFQ4Z Don't forget to register for our 40th Anniversary Celebration and Fundraiser so you can enjoy more inspiring stories like this! 🎟 Secure your spot here: https://lnkd.in/g3Ms6usj #LT40Years #LTImpact
