The Lafayette Area Utility Coordinating Council recently hosted a successful Diggers Night Out event. The evening featured informative presentations by Billy Forest from LA811 (Louisiana 811) and Greg Galle from LA DENR. The event was advertised to foremen, operators, and anyone involved in digging operations, inviting them to join us for a brief program focused on underground damage prevention. Attendees enjoyed a buffet-style dinner and had the chance to win door prizes. Throughout the program, we had guest speakers, vendors, and demonstrations from several organizations, making it a valuable and engaging experience for all. The Louisiana Gas Association (LGA) is dedicated to offering a variety of educational seminars and events throughout the year, aimed at informing, educating, and providing opportunities to meet new people and reconnect with old friends.
