The adoption of an #intranet, #EmployeeMobileApp or similar tool can stumble at the first hurdle when people can't easily gain access - something that impacts #frontline teams in particular. There are ways round this and in the latest update to our review report, we've explored some of these new features in Omnia. There is the option of local management of employee profiles that can subsequently sync to central user databases. This includes an option for employees to partially self-serve by scanning a QR code via digital signage (provided by Omnia) to then enter details set up by their manager, leading on to the completion of their profile set up. This is what is optionally passed to a central admin for a sense-check before final approval (the ability for local managers to approve is on Omnia's roadmap). Helpfully there are tabs available in Teams, where managers can see an analytics overview specific to their employees so they can check who is or isn't using the tool effectively. From here, managers can also set up ‘sign-off requests’ which are tasks (such as “quarterly safety check”) with an associated checklist of steps to complete with links to more information. This ability for managers to do so much from one place is really handy, particularly for busy frontline teams. #DigitalWorkplace #EmployeeExperience #Operations #HRTech
