What fills your cup? (Literally and metaphorically, of course.)🥤 Today is #NationalInternDay, so we asked our interns what they’re sipping on and what brings them joy outside of work. The LivCor kitchen might have the best beverage selection this side of the Chicago River, but what really fills our cup is working with talented, inspiring, hardworking interns like ours all summer long. Thanks for all that you bring to our team, Lauren Besh, Abby Clarke, Aidan Huber, Jake Martin, Fatima Navarro, Keon Okoh, Aaron Peer, Lillian Rott, Isabel Wellisch, and Carly Wiegel. Now, go get yourself a refill.

On #InternationalNonBinaryPeoplesDay, we celebrate the resilience of non-binary individuals around the world and remember the importance of visibility, acceptance, and inclusion for all gender identities. At LivCor, we start by honoring our humans’ preferred pronouns. Not every person feels their identity falls into one of the two binary genders (man or woman). Many people feel they identify with parts of both, or they are fluid between the two, or they may not identify with either at all. Being open about your preferred pronouns (in your email signature, when meeting someone or kicking off a call, etc.) benefits everyone for one simple reason: it normalizes discussions about gender. Non-binary people have always existed and made significant and meaningful contributions to our communities, workplaces, and cultures. By recognizing and respecting their identities, we foster a more inclusive and equitable world for everyone.

You know those moments when it feels like Joy is fighting with Sadness, Anxiety, Fear, and Ennui all at once? Yeah, we’ve all been there. That’s why we offer our humans #PeopleFuel. LivCorians are kicking the old habits and outdated expectations of the corporate world by attending PeopleFuel workshops—designed to supercharge productivity by fighting burnout and helping us discover the right tools and strategies for feeling revitalized and energetic. Thank you to Eren Rosenfeld and The Energy Project for supporting us in our effort to create a life-filled career, rather than a career-filled life.

“Born in the U.S.A.” –Bruce Springsteen “Party in the U.S.A.” –Miley Cyrus “Creating great places to live, work, and grow in the U.S.A.” –LivCor Okay, so ours doesn’t roll off the tongue quite like those other two, but we are proud to create incredible homes for our residents across the nation. Whether you’re boating and swimming, attending a parade, or just taking it easy today—we wish you a happy 4th of July. 🇺🇸

As #Pride Month comes to a close, we're thankful to our team resource group, Prism, for promoting the celebratory culture of the LGBTQ community at LivCor. (And for fabulous events like Drag Queen Bingo at the office.) 🌈💃✨ In partnership with our TRGs, we work hard to create an environment that fosters safety and belonging—where our humans can show up as they are. Be you. Be real. Be open.

Our third annual Play FORE! A Cause golf outing with CoreGiving raised more than $826K to fight childhood hunger. That’s over 4.1 million meals provided to families across our nation. 🧡 We cannot stop looking at these photos, reliving this incredible day, and celebrating our collective impact. Thank you to everyone who donated or showed up.

#Juneteenth commemorates June 19, 1865—the day when the last enslaved African Americans in Galveston, Texas, were informed of their freedom, over two years after the Emancipation Proclamation was issued. It marks a pivotal moment in American history and reminds us of the ongoing struggle for racial equality. As we honor Juneteenth, we know this day is not only for celebration but also for reflection on our actions (or inaction). Progress doesn't just happen—we must be actively anti-racist in everything we do and say. We are committed to leaving people and places better than we found them, treating everyone with dignity and respect, and working together to be better today than yesterday. Thank you to everyone in our community who joins us on the continuous journey toward equality. There is work to do, and we’re proud to be standing alongside people who #CareAlways.

When does a joke become a dad joke? When it becomes apparent. 👀 #HappyFathersDay to the dads who don't just keep us laughing but (more importantly) prioritize their families through all of life's ups and downs.

Welcome to your first day of COOL! 😎 This week, we welcome our summer interns to the LivCor team. An internship at LivCor isn’t about coffee runs or busy work. These ten college students are the future of multifamily real estate, and they have a seat at the table here from day one. Throughout the summer, they’ll make significant contributions to our business. Grab a cold brew or a kombucha from the fridge, friends, and let’s get ready to make an impact. 📸 🤩 Aaron Peer, Abby Clarke, Carly Wiegel, Fatima Navarro, Isabel Wellisch, Jake Martin, Keon Okoh, Lauren Besh, Lillian Rott
