Little League International reposted this
Four games on ESPN today marks the first day of 340 Little League International games on ESPN Platforms over the next six weeks, and there is a lot of exciting work to be done to bring the highlights and memorable moments to fans all around the world this summer. None of that would be possible if it wasn't for our #LLWS Residency program, featuring a group of 12 students from Hampton University, Penn State University, and Syracuse University. Looking forward to working alongside these incredible students over these next six weeks, and getting to know them along the way: Jada Evans, Isaac Harris, Taylor Ivey, Donovan Dorsey, Ari Feinstein, Brennan Finder, Robert Stewart, Audrey Glynn, Ryan Stephens, Benjamin Cohen, Alison Noll, and Sadie Protze. A big shoutout and thank you also to our University liaisons, W. Timothy Orr Ed.D, Bob Martin, John Affleck, and Olivia Stomski, as well as all the staff who have helped make this Residency Program successful. Finally, a big thanks to the hard work and long hours we will all spend on Teams watching games with Brian McClintock, Dallas Miller, Jon Harrington, and Michael Weslosky.

You Gotta Believe—the inspiring new movie based on the real-life 2002 Westside Little League All-Stars from Fort Worth, Texas—tells the story of the Southwest Region team that underwent a transformational journey from district underdog to taking its place in the Little League World Series record books in a showdown that became an instant ESPN classic! Supported, in part, by work and consultation from many of our staff members at Little League Baseball and Softball, the film stars Luke Wilson & Greg Kinnear and will be opening in theaters nationwide on August 30.
