Meet Erin, the Little City artist who designed this year's Hero Walk shirt! Erin has been coming to Little City since 2010 and has always had a passion for our art program. She enjoys creating highly detailed sketches using colored pencils and featuring bright colors, always portraying a sense of positivity (as you can see in this year's shirt design). When she's not at our Center for the Arts, she loves volunteering and working at the local Goodwill store, playing bocce, shopping, or chatting on the phone with friends. Support Erin's original artwork and our upcoming Hero Walk by getting your shirt today: https://lnkd.in/gq5GnTJS

Little City's Grayslake Campus recently had a day full of fun activities! Participants enjoyed Bingo, Family Feud, a corn hole tournament, creating their own figurines, and DIY firework spin art. 🌟 During Spin Art, participants discovered that these unique designs are made through centrifugal force. Who knew a salad spinner could do more than dry lettuce?! Participants chose between a crank or pull cord spinner, added red, white, and blue paint, and watched the magic happen. 🎨✨ Check it out!

As the heat of summer wears on ☀️, we’re excited to introduce the Hydro Heroes program at Little City! We all know the importance of drinking water for our health 💧, and we need to encourage the individuals in our care to hydrate! We already have hydration protocols in place but wanted to bring some fun to the effort with educational posters, water dispensers 🚰, stickers, lanyards, T-shirts 👕, and, of course, WATER BOTTLES!
