We would like to officially welcome Flight Paramedic Tommy Gallant back to LifeFlight of Maine! Tommy has been with LifeFlight since 2019. He's also a member of the Maine Army National Guard. In January of 2023, he went on military leave to attend flight school in Alabama. Tommy recently finished his leave, and completed his reorientation with LifeFlight of Maine! Tommy says he's looking forward to "continuing to work with an amazing group of people and bring new and different experiences and knowledge to the organization," and that he's excited to be back! When he's not working, you can find Tommy hiking with his wife and dogs or boating in the summer. Thank you for your service, and we are so glad to have you back in Maine!

Today marks the start of National Patient Transport Week! At LifeFlight of Maine, we move the doors of the trauma center closer to patients every single day. All of our vehicles- helicopters, airplane, ground ambulances- are equipped as mobile ICUs and staffed by some of the best emergency medical clinicians in the country. Since 1998, we have safely cared for and transported nearly 40,000 patients from every community and hospital in the state. #NationalPatientTransportWeek #morethanjusthelicopters

Our mission is about more than just helicopters. We move the doors of the trauma center closer to patients in Maine every single day.   All of our vehicles — helicopters, airplane, ground ambulances — are equipped as mobile ICUs and staffed by some of the best emergency medical clinicians in the country. We give patients their best chance on their worst day.   We are excited to take you inside our operation at LifeFlight of Maine in a new way. Check out our new video, and learn more about our mission and how you can support it at https://lnkd.in/giGVzjND.   #morethanjusthelicopters   And a huge thank you to our colleagues and friends at Lone Spruce Creative, led by Mark Fleming, who brought this project to life.
