The Licking County Health Department serves more than 170,000 citizens in the Licking County General Health District by preventing disease, protecting the environment and promoting healthy lifestyles with a vision of healthy people living in healthy communities. The Health Department is a non-profit, governmental health agency. Its mission is accomplished through the health department’s divisions of Administration, Environmental Health, Community and Personal Health, Maternal and Child Health, and Health Promotion.
