Special thanks to Bill Shelow and the entire LIBRA team for staying at the forefront of marketplace dynamics that affect today’s BGAs.

It was great to visit with the LIBRA Insurance Partners at their Fall Planning Meeting in Florida this past week. Our Head of Insurance, Hector Martinez led the discussion around his vision at John Hancock and how we are changing the insurance conversation by helping people live longer, healthier, better, lives. In our carrier breakout sessions Caroline Brooks discussed planning opportunities in the estate planning markets including our 6 for 26 sales idea. Carly also participated in a breakout on “The Opportunities Created by Connelly” and covered the “road map” she authored to assist in addressing concerns and planning opportunities in business planning space. Neal Halder then covered our expanding and growing Global Wealthy Citizens (aka Foreign Nationals) and changes we made to increase our capacity in this space. Neal also spoke to how our underwriting processes can make the BGA, Advisor and Client experience as easy as possible by using Express Track and our Concierge’s Processes.
