#AgenticAI differ from LLMs in the ability to act based on knowledge (not just data), implementing “actionable” workflows. Knowledge, unlike data, includes industry meaning (#semantics). This knowledge is captured from natural language, therefore Agentic AI supports executable requests with an LLM (semantic prompting) interface, targeting business processes that are executed in a chained, step-by-step manner. The big challenge is how to evolve from #LLMs that have performed tasks such as generating text and summarizing documents, but have not been able to act on their own to an evolution in which AI can act in decision-making environments autonomously without hallucinating. No one will leave their business decisions in the hands of autonomous AI agents unless they can guarantee that they will decide with their own judgment.
