These passionate professionals are crucial in assessing the effectiveness of the 2Zero Partnership in achieving #sustainableroadtransport 🍃 🚗 Today, we are excited to introduce Joerg Dubbert, Senior Consultant at VDI/VDE Innovation Technik GmbH. "As a road transport engineer, I am especially excited to look into the impact and effectiveness of European research and innovation projects which target carbon neutrality in my own professional domain. I would like to learn what impact the current R&I projects have on the advancement of carbon neutrality, the reduction of air pollution and the improvement of health in society. It is also interesting to see the prospects for the further implementation of circular economy and for strengthening the competitiveness of European stakeholders and reaching technology leadership in this field", says Jörg Dubbert. VDI/VDE-IT analyses, supports and organises major innovation activities in the European mobility sector, with a strong focus on achieving carbon-neutral road transport to protect our climate. They facilitate and support co-operation, know-how building as well as exchange of experience and information. As a partner of the #LeMesurier consortium, VDI/VDE-IT leads WP3, which assesses the interactions, impacts, and effectiveness of the 2Zero Partnership. This includes evaluating crucial aspects such as carbon neutrality, air pollution or circular economy in alignment with the 2Zero SRIA Generic Objectives. The European Union has a clear goal to reach climate neutrality by 2050. A critical step in this journey is transitioning to a clean and sustainable road transport system. #LeMesurier is playing a crucial role in measuring this progress and ensuring we're on the right track, evaluating the effectiveness of 2Zero EU-funded projects driving Europe towards zero-emission road transport. We have just completed our first semester in action, celebrating our first General Assembly on 20 June. We are proud to announce our participation in the European Commission-funded consortium LeMesurier Project, to assess the impact and effectiveness of research programs aimed at reducing emissions and enhancing efficiency in European road transport.   Our role in this two-year project, under the #2ZERO partnership, will be to co-manage administrative and technical tasks and lead a crucial Work Package to develop and evaluate compound key performance indicators (KPIs).   We will be happy to work alongside leading organizations such as E3M, RICARDO GmbH, AVL, CERTH, and more on this exciting ride to the future of mobility! #LeMesurier #mobility #mobilityinnovation #Emisia

Exciting news!    Today, the #LeMesurier consortium and several Advisory Board members have gathered in Brussels to celebrate the project's official kick-off meeting. After weeks of preparation, the project, coordinated by E3-Modelling Energy-Economy-Environment and Ricardo plc, is ready to get hands-on business to advance the future of zero-emission road transport, creating a comprehensive framework to monitor and measure the effectiveness of the 2Zero partnership towards its sustainable road transport research and innovation goals. This framework will assess the 2ZERO project’s contribution to the partnership’s goals and targets.   Lucie Beaumel introduced #EGVIAfor2Zero, outlining their core initiatives, and delved into the Sustainable Research and Innovation Agenda (#SRIA) as a pivotal reference for tracking the outcomes of the EGVIA projects.   LeMesurier will account for the 2ZERO KPIs and targets, use modelling tools to translate project results into model inputs and provide recommendations for further measurement and evaluation methods.   Verena Wagenhofer (AVL), Prof Zissis Samaras (Emisia SA), and Andrew W. (ERTICO - ITS Europe), among other partners, have presented insightful overviews of their Work Packages, which have already started, to ensure a smooth start and success to the project.   Join us in this exciting journey!
