We love sharing our work in action! Here is the signage we designed for Options Housing after leading their new rebrand. We designed signage for their multiple locations.

Alongside the Society of Queer Momentum, our team worked on some designs for the upcoming rallies in Calgary and Edmonton being held in support of trans communities. Kathryn LeBlanc is coincidentally in Calgary, and will be at the Calgary rally tomorrow! While it is a tough week for trans communities in Alberta and the people who support them, we are hopeful that the side of human rights will eventually prevail, as activists are working tirelessly to build community power. 💙💙

We love seeing our work in action! Here is the signage that LeBlanc (& co.) Communications designed for Options Housing after leading their new rebrand. When we talk to clients about bringing messaging into their brand design work, we often bring Options Housing up as an example, with how consistently the meaningful tagline “We all deserve a home” was woven into their visual branding. 📸 Photo snapped by Robin Richardson-Dupuis, brand and web designer on our team, on a recent walk in Ottawa!

For every new affordable home built with government assistance, Ottawa loses several older affordable homes in the private market. That's why the Ottawa Community Land Trust works to preserve affordable housing in Ottawa. By purchasing real estate, this community-run organization ensures that housing can stay affordable while being used for the community's benefit. The Ottawa Community Land Trust approached us to help strengthen their communications and rebrand their organization. To support their amazing work, we were thrilled to lead the OCLT through their rebrand, which entailed a Communications Strategy, Message Guide, and a full visual rebranding (including creating a new brand, designing a new website, and setting them up with a new suite of branded collateral and templates). Something that I don’t talk about quite often enough on here is the work that my team and I do in philanthropy. This year, we have worked with Global Philanthropy Project, The Fund for Global Human Rights, Mama Cash, and Children's Rights Innovation Fund (CRIF). Most recently on the Canadian side of things, I helped support communications for a small local fund doing emergency response grantmaking while responding to a natural disaster, specifically wildfires. I am always looking to do more work with funders, particularly funders that are shifting power in their funding structures and funders powering human rights work. Give me a shout if your organization needs support in philanthropic communications, specifically in strategy, campaigns, training, and brand and web design.

This #NationalComingOutDay, we are taking a moment to reshare some of our work with the Society of Queer Momentum. From promo graphics to merch and rally signs, the National Week of Action for #RainbowEquality campaign brand was used from Vancouver to Iqaluit to Charlottetown — and dozens of other cities and towns across Canada. Thank you to Momentum for entrusting us with an ongoing partnership (with more to come soon).

We love whenever we get to drop a new case study! Yesterday we launched our case study on rebranding the Ottawa Community Land Trust. The land trust works with the community to preserve and increase affordable housing in Ottawa. The Ottawa Community Land Trust has been reaching many milestones in their work lately — like raising $1.7M in a bonds fundraising campaign and buying their second building. Through both the refinement from this rebrand, and the tireless work from their team, they are stepping into an exciting new chapter in their work. 📍Check out their new logo and brand, modelled here by our colleague marie kamukuny. 📍Our team collaborated with the OCLT team to lead the organization through a full rebrand — including a communications strategy, message guide, brand guide, new website design, and suite of branded materials. 👩🏻💻 📍 Read the full case study here: https://lnkd.in/eAuthnSK

We are excited to launch our case study on rebranding the Ottawa Community Land Trust! In collaboration with Mike Bulthuis and the rest of their team, we worked on everything from brand design, to communications strategy and messaging, to a new website, and a suite of branded materials. Canada is in a housing crisis, and locally in Ottawa, people are feeling the pinch. For every new affordable home built with government assistance, Ottawa loses several older affordable homes in the private market. That’s why the Ottawa Community Land Trust (OCLT) works to preserve affordable housing in Ottawa. By purchasing real estate, this community-run organization ensures that housing can stay affordable while being used for the community’s benefit. 📍Our team offered OCLT strategic guidance and a rebrand, and then we designed their new website. 👩🏻💻 📍 Read the full case study here: https://lnkd.in/eAuthnSK
