A huge thank you to Rossmeri Alfaro for her leadership and for guiding and inspiring our 2024 ELLA cohort!
Community Partnerships & Strategy Associate Partner | Expert in Strategic Engagement and Educational Advocacy
It was an honor to present at a Latina Coalition of Silicon Valley ELLA program session. The ELLA program unlocks leadership potential and offers resources that make a difference for Latinas locally and state-wide. In my workshop, “Latina Rising: Cultivating Leadership and Growth,” we dove deep into mentorship and professional development, empowering Latinas to nurture and elevate their leadership. We closed our session with a powerful affirmation exercise, recognizing the impact of our words on ourselves, each other, and our community. Together, we declared: “I am a capable and inspiring leader.” “My cultural background enriches my leadership style.” “I am continuously growing and improving as a leader.” Special thanks to Marinez Ruiz for the invitation. Listen to these affirmations and feel the power of our collective strength. #LatinaLeadership #Mentorship #ELLAProgram #LatinaRising #Empowerment
