    "I’m having a really hard time finding our first marketer..." Yesterday, we did a poll asking which role is harder to fill: marketing or IT. Most people said IT. But many companies have just as much trouble, or even more, finding a good marketer, demand generation specialist, or SDR. A good marketer needs to understand the company, its values, and its mission well enough to create effective campaigns that reach the right audience and turn leads into sales. This job needs creativity, organization, proactivity, solid knowledge, and patience.     Today's topic: Holidays when working remotely. When to take them? This company is clearly located in the US, and they are looking to expand their team by hiring talent located in Latam. They offer US working hours (understandable and possible) and US holidays. Now, the question here is: Are US holidays compatible with all Latin American countries' holidays? If you are working from Latam for a remote company, do you have flexible holidays? If you are a company in the US that hired a team from Latam, do you give your team the possibility of taking holidays at a time that's convenient for both of you?
