When it comes to community health, convenient options matter. At Lakeview, mammogram appointments are available close to home and are only 30 minutes or less. We also offer walk-in and next-day appointments. We know that 1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer, but when caught early, 99% is treatable. We also know that life is busy, that’s why Dr. Loretta Pfannes, an Internal Medicine physician at Hudson Hospital & Clinic, shared her passion about the importance of mammograms while addressing some common concerns and misconceptions in a recent article published in the Star-Observer.

We asked participants in our HealthPartners Lakeview campus project survey what they hoped the new campus would bring to the community. Their feedback highlighted three main priorities: quality care close to home, expanded primary care and specialty care services, and health and well-being offerings. This valuable feedback is crucial as we design our new campus. We have a big thank you to share. More than 1,200 people took part in the HealthPartners Lakeview campus project survey this spring. The responses were both insightful and inspiring. We want you to know that your thoughts and ideas were heard. For example, question No. 2 asked what you like about the current campus. “Great care, near home.” “It’s an important asset to our community.” “A safe, trusted place to receive emergency care and treatment…” “… feels very personal - a good small town feel while being connected to a big quality network.” To read the summary of the survey results, go to https://lnkd.in/dc-EckKU. Follow our social media accounts and our website https://lnkd.in/dZSHZXR9 for further details and updates on the project.
