In 1914, over 2 million Armenians lived in the Ottoman Empire. In 1923, only ~388,000 lived on as survivors of the Armenian genocide. As Armenian descendants living 109 years post-genocide, we remain committed to our people and our nation. Though more struggles for justice surely lie ahead, we are proud to follow the lead of our ancestors, who so lovingly instilled in us the values of courage, resilience, and compassion.
