A few weeks ago we touched down in Kansas City to visit Operation Breakthrough, an organization that provides a safe, loving, and educational environment for children in poverty. We got to tour the Ignition Lab, hang out with the amazing staff and students, and serve up some serious flapjacks in a Kodiak cooking challenge against their culinary students. We’re on a mission to set the youth up for a wildly successful school year, starting with a real, good breakfast. But some folks have limited access to nourishing options to fuel their epic days.
