    September is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month and our Depend® brand in the U.S. is on a mission to raise awareness and encourage men to take charge of their health with the Stand Strong for Men's Health™ initiative, benefitting the Prostate Cancer Foundation (PCF). Since launching its Stand Strong for Men’s Health™ campaign in 2020, Depend® has donated more than $1 million to PCF. The initiative helps fund critical research from the PCF that ultimately improves the treatment of prostate cancer. Depend® is also teaming up with Emmitt Smith, a legendary former football star and record-setting rusher whose exceptional career established him as one of football's greatest players. Beyond his sports career, Smith has been involved in various philanthropic efforts, and he understands first-hand the realities of prostate cancer – his late father was diagnosed with the disease. This fall, he’s using his platform to normalize conversations around men's health and motivate more men to get checked and champion those who take control of their health. “It’s so easy to avoid medical checkups and preventative care, but confronting these issues head-on is the ultimate display of strength,” said Smith. “I’ve experienced the impact that this disease has on families, which is why I’m taking part in the Depend® Stand Strong for Men's Health campaign, to encourage others to prioritize their health and get screened."

    Kimberly-Clark's teams reduced logistics and distribution emissions in the Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region by 64% between 2015 and 2023 by focusing on four pillars: measurement, optimization, switching to intermodal distribution and alternative fuels wherever possible and innovation. Kimberly-Clark also joined the European Clean Trucking Alliance to advance zero-emission vans and trucks. We’re proud of our teams who are passionate about reducing carbon emissions.     This year, Kimberly-Clark is celebrating not only the centennial of our iconic Kleenex® brand, but also 100 years of the manufacturing facility where it was first made. The Kimberly-Clark Experimental Mill -- or as we call it, the X-Mill -- in Neenah, Wisconsin, has been producing our category-defining products since its beginning. Originally the Globe Paper Mill, the facility was the birthplace of many of our original paper products in the 1920s, including Kleenex. Today, the facility is dedicated to product testing in collaboration with our research and engineering teams to ensure we continue to deliver people-centric innovation for years to come. Cheers to 100 years and many more for both the X-Mill and Kleenex brand! #FacilityFriday

    Our Poise® brand is now available in Brazil to meet the needs of women with bladder leaks. A 2022 Qualibest study showed that one out of four women over the age of 35 in Brazil has some level of bladder leakage, affecting their emotional, psychological and social lives due to stigmas. With five products, Poise brand is here to help bring some freedom to women in Brazil. Great work team!

    This National Diaper Need Awareness Week, Kimberly-Clark is proud to highlight the impactful work that our Huggies® brand does to address diaper need every day. A 2023 study by the National Diaper Bank Network showed that 1 in 2 U.S. households with young children struggle to afford the diapers necessary to keep their children clean, dry and healthy. Partnering with organizations like National Diaper Bank Network and Baby2Baby, Huggies donates more than 20 million diapers to diaper bank programs in the U.S. each year. Since 2011, Kimberly-Clark has donated more than 300 million diapers and wipes to families in need.
