"Building A Better Bronx, One Family At A Time."

About us

Kingsbridge Heights Community Center (KHCC) was founded in a former police station in 1974 by three community activists. Today, KHCC offers programs and services at multiple sites in the Bronx for more than 4,500 people annually. Guided by the Settlement House model of community development and involvement, KHCC is a member of United Neighborhood Houses of New York City. KHCC's mission is to build on the strengths of residents in our diverse community, enabling them to effect change and improve quality of life for themselves, their families, and Bronx residents overall.
