Happy International Women’s Day! 🥂🌴 Here are 5 interesting facts about Kenny Flowers that you may not have known in honor of the day -> 1. Our swimwear is made in a female-owned boutique factory in Colombia. This team of mothers and powerful women are the caring hands behind the swim you own and love. 2. In addition to running her luxury travel blog and being the best mom to our son, my wife Christina Haisfield (Jetset Christina) is our Head of Women’s and is behind every women’s and kids product we design. That’s right, it’s NOT me designing those bikinis. 3. Our small but mighty Kenny Flowers team is 2/3 women! 4. In 2015, as a 25 year old ex-corporate worker, I moved across the world into my nana’s guest room in Bali to get Kenny Flowers off the ground. Finding fabrics, starting a factory, perfecting the first shirts - all in between sharing coconuts on the beach at sunset with Nana. Thanks to THE Bali Nana for helping me get KF off the ground! 5. Our destination-inspired KF prints are all designed by women too, often hand-painted by our talented print designer first and worked into the collections we bring to life for you.
