Today, our 2024 summer intern class volunteered at the Los Angeles Regional Food Bank to better understand Kennedy Wilson's culture of giving back, and to support the non-profit's mission to provide food for the 2 million people in Los Angeles County who face food insecurity. The volunteer day is part of a comprehensive, eight-week summer intern program at Kennedy Wilson that provides first-hand experience working in a global real estate investment company. #Internship #ESG #GivingBack

Kennedy Wilson and its partner have acquired Heathrow Estate, a high quality multi-let industrial property in a prime distribution location in West London for $111 million. The 300,000-square-feet modern warehouse and ancillary office space provides attractive short to medium-term opportunities to add value through the extension of existing tenant leases and the leasing of vacant units. Kennedy Wilson will also undertake an active asset management strategy to improve on-site services, upgrade sustainability performance, and review the possibility for future alternate uses. Located on the property immediately adjacent to the manufacturing and distribution facility acquired by Kennedy Wilson and Intercontinental in 2022, Stockton Commerce Center enables the joint venture to control two large scale core assets totaling more than 1.5 million square feet of industrial space in California's Central Valley. “We are pleased to expand our existing partnership with Intercontinental and to build on the success of our industrial investment in Stockton with this acquisition,” said Steve Cook, Managing Director, Acquisitions for Kennedy Wilson’s U.S. Commercial Group. “We believe there is a promising runway for continued industrial growth in the Central Valley, and with capabilities for cold storage, this high-quality asset fills an important need in the local market.”

Kennedy Wilson’s recently published 2023 Annual Report details a year of strong progress for the company in the face of significant headwinds. In the year, the team grew Kennedy Wilson's investment management platform and fee-bearing capital by 42% to a record $8.4 billion. The company also hit a record $25 billion in AUM, fueled by the completion of the largest single transaction in Kennedy Wilson’s history - the discounted, off-market acquisition of a $4.1 billion construction loan portfolio. Three of our residential projects, Sandyford Central, The Grange, and The Cornerstone received awards at the Considerate Constructors Scheme Awards held earlier this week in Manchester. Each project achieved a score of 15/15 across the key Considerate Constructor categories of 'Respect for the Community', 'Care of the Environment', and 'Value for the Workforce'. This recognises these projects as top performers in the scheme in Ireland and the UK and is great recognition for how our teams deliver projects in the community. A real estate fund managed by Kennedy Wilson has partnered with HASEKO Corporation to acquire The Farmstead and Villas at 28th Street communities in Vancouver, Washington. The portfolio, which totals 350 multifamily units, was acquired for $90 million. The two newly constructed, amenity rich communities build on Kennedy Wilson's significant multifamily presence in the Pacific Northwest, which is approaching 13,000 market rate and affordable apartment units.
