Generative AI has notoriously struggled to create consistent images, but research from Rice Computer Science's Vision, Language, and Learning Lab could make weird AI images a thing of the past. CS PhD student Moayed Haji Ali and his advisor, associate professor Vicente Ordónez-Román, have developed a way to improve the performance of AI diffusion models. They presented this new approach, called ElasticDiffusion, at CVPR 2024. https://bit.ly/3BcIlQQ
