Youth Minister Church of the Nativity, Leawood is seeking a full-time, dynamic, high energy, consistently visible, and creative Youth Minister to join the Campus Youth Director and Christian Formation team. This position will be responsible for working directly with the Youth Director to aid in the coordination of pastoral youth ministry for the entire campus including High School Youth, Junior High Youth from both the parish school and religious education program, and parish Young Adults. Ideal candidate will be a practicing Catholic who can work well in a team dynamic closely collaborating with the Campus Youth Director and the Director of Religious Education, displaying strong communication skills through a variety of points of contact, exhibiting interpersonal skills to foster mutual support from families of youth, and a passionate love for sharing Jesus Christ with all youth, knowing any contact with them is a touchpoint of evangelization. Hiring an IT Specialist Church of the Nativity and Nativity Parish School Oversee the development, implementation, maintenance and use of technology to support Church of the Nativity Parish and School. Responsible for day-to-day operations of information and telecommunication systems, providing support and maintenance of existing technology and development of new technical solutions. Reports to the Director of IT. Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks • Supports and implements all technology on parish-wide basis • Manages computer network, Microsoft Exchange hybrid server and file servers • Support Microsoft Office 365 cloud based solutions • Assists school staff in implementing and maintaining classroom technologies • Manages programmable door system, video and security systems as needed • Manages, maintains, upgrades and trouble-shoots devices (laptops, Chromebook), inventory of 600 /- • Manages all computer hardware and related supplies, parts, etc. • Manages and supports copiers, printers, faxes, etc. • Maintains and supports existing telecommunications system • Manages audio-visual needs in Church and School • Trouble-shoots all technology related issues • Educates and trains staff on technology best practices • Maintains and order technology related supplies, hardware and software as needed • Suggests and recommends new technologies that will best support the mission of the Parish and School • Able to work independently with a variety of staff, students and volunteers • Excellent time management and communication skills • Comfortable with flexible work schedule and after-hour emergencies as needed Qualifications • Working knowledge of Windows operating systems (client and server), Microsoft software (cloud based) and Google Suite • Proficiency in A/V systems • Strong communication skills with the ability to explain computer related topics in layman terms • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills • Keen attention to detail • Good organization, time management and prioritization • Effective communication skills, including speaking, writing and active listening • Applicants must pass formal background check and participate in training as needed Preferences • Familiar with school / parish work environment • Networking - switching and routing • Wireless - site surveys and configuration • IT security • Bachelors Information Systems, computer science or Associates degree in an equivalent program of study • 3 years of relevant work experience Resumes should be sent to [email protected]
