Brands say increasing ad costs are the number one challenge to selling on Amazon — and our 2024 Amazon Advertising Report shows a decline in RoAS across several Amazon ad types and strategies. How are brands responding? One strategy that’s gaining popularity is a multi-platform advertising approach that uses Google advertising to boost Amazon sales. When executed correctly, Google and Amazon ads make a powerful combo that: • Reaches shoppers at multiple stages of their buying process • Limits the visibility of competitors in crowded markets • Increases customer lifetime value and new-to-brand sales • Offers a more cost-effective way to direct traffic to listings Want to learn more about the results brands are seeing with this strategy (and how you can put it into action)? High interest rates and rising home prices are making homeownership challenging – or unattainable – for many. In our latest Consumer Trends Report, we surveyed 1,000 consumers to learn more about how homeownership and many other factors impact spending behavior. One big takeaway? 20% more renters than homeowners are worried about their finances, and 13% more renters have cut back online spending compared to homeowners. In Q2, 15% more renters than homeowners pulled back on online spending. Dive deeper into how homeownership and other economic concerns are shaping consumer behavior.

Do your customers a favor and LISTEN👂 Here's a BLACK DECKER pedestal fan that generates $800k/mo. Now just imagine how much more market share they would capture if their CVR increased by even 1% 📈 I believe this could be done by adding an image that addresses their MOST COMMON negative customer complaint: "it's too noisy" 🔊 (11% of the negative reviews in the entire category) Learn from this mistake: Regularly analyze your reviews (and your competitors') to identify what's stopping shoppers from buying, and test new images that address those common concerns 🛠️

We really wish this was a nice rounded “Ten Reasons People Fail at FBA post” ...but we found eleven reasons and they’re too good not to share. So here are ELEVEN reasons people fail FBA 1. Investing in the wrong product. Many new sellers' first mistake is choosing the wrong product. Don’t choose a product based on your interests; look at what the data is telling you. Don’t rush the product research process. Many sellers overlook many other factors to consider. 2. Failing to find a proper manufacturer can increase your cost per unit and/or the time it takes to receive your goods, which can ultimately hurt profits right from the start. 3. Not receiving samples from multiple suppliers or skipping product quality tests for your first couple of orders. Product quality tests ensure your product and packaging meet your standards. 4. Poor product differentiation. New sellers need to take the time to figure out what the customer is missing from the competitor's product and how to incorporate that into their product and make it different from all the others already in the market. 5. High FBA cost due to lack of FBA tier size knowledge and Amazon FBA fees. 6. Average-level SEO and poor listing quality, such as bad or limited product images, no videos, non-optimized listing copy, or no A Content. 7. Lack of strategy to gain initial product reviews. 8. Poor PPC structuring and campaigns without specific goals can cause sellers to overspend on unprofitable campaigns. 9. Lack of knowledge about how to rank keywords and how the Amazon algorithm works. 10. Relying on your gut instead of making data-driven decisions. 11. Not having access to Amazon-selling software to keep track of sales, profits, keyword rankings, and competitors' performance. What would you add?
