Artificial intelligence (#AI) is one of the most important issues in healthcare. This week, we convened a group of key congressional, government and healthcare leaders in Washington, D.C. to help inform The Joint Commission’s industry guidance on healthcare AI. As we gather more stakeholder input, our intention is to help healthcare organizations sort through this complicated issue – remembering that critical to all our work is keeping the patient at the center of what we do.
