    Had the pleasure of attending the Grow NYC Conference recently (great booths from a few of SuperAngel.Fund’s portfolio companies: Status, PostPilot, and Revenue Roll). Below are some takeaways from the incredible speaker panels that I attended: Colleen Johnson: ▶ Partnering with a complimentary brand and selling their items on your website (and vice versa) can be a great customer acquisition strategy. For example, BlendJet® sells protein powders like KOS and Sunwarrior on their website...and when orders come in, the brands do the fulfillment. Kelly Murphy & Jen Gray: ▶ If you are a subscription business…think beyond just “how can I get another subscriber?” but reframe this to “how does my product fit into my customers daily or weekly routine…and what can I do to meet them there?”. Doing this will allow you to create products/ versions of existing products that better fit into people’s lives. Cody Plofker & Varun Kundra: ▶ Analyzing shopping carts to see what people are buying together is essential to effectively upsell. For example, recommending a cucumber scented deodorant at checkout if a customer has that same scent body wash in their cart is a great strategy. This pointed tactic significantly increases conversion and ultimately AOV. Rick Cadotte ▶As a consumer product company, you don’t need a sophisticated and expensive tech stack in the early days. If you have something that is working well, software tools can make it work really well. But, software tools will not be what makes the product/ service perform well in the first place. Nail down the product and business fundamentals first, and then start to invest in technology to improve operations  Michelle Song & Tony Tran ▶Relationships are the only thing that are recession proof, and something that AI certainly cannot replace. David Baker, Jordan Sack, Michael Epstein, & John Hickey ▶If you want a relatively inexpensive marketing channel (w/ a high ROAS) and the ability to effectively cross sell products, give direct mail and PostPilot a try!

    The Digioh team took on NYC 🗽 last week for 2 major DTC conferences — GROW NY and The Lead. What a week it was!! Feeling extra grateful for this amazing team, our wonderful customers, and the DTC community! Here were my top 3 highlights 👇 1. I spoke on the main stage at GROW with Charlotte Paffe, Sr. Director of Ecomm at Andie (a long time Digioh customer) and Nik Sharma about how Andie is leveraging Digioh guided selling experiences across their acquisition and retention funnels to increase conversions, list growth, and overall customer experience. 2. We leveraged an immersive "try Digioh before you buy it" experience and gave away 81 Andie swim suits to brands who visited our booth. We had a line down the expo hall with brands waiting over 45 minutes to be a part of it! Rather than give away swag, we're big believers in supporting our customers and letting event attendees experience how Digioh works with our customers. 3. Meeting with customers and brands to discuss what's working well, what they're looking to improve, and how Digioh can assist with creating marketing efficiency (making the most of every site site visitor both on and offsite). Between GROW and The Lead — we met with so many incredible brands! It feels incredibly exciting to hear so many brands speaking about how owned identification, zero party data capture and activation, and personalization are top of mind for them. It only confirms that the problem space Digioh sits in is continuing to grow as we continue to service more DTC brands! A major shout out to my Digioh squad for pulling this off Blake Imperl Alexandra Cassis Noah Rahimzadeh. Feeling extra grateful to have such a great group of colleagues and friends who I get to do this with day in and out! We live for in-person time at Digioh! We'll be back in NYC in August for The Whalie's NYC World Tour — more on that soon. Have a great weekend all! #gratitude #ecommerce
