Andres leads core strategic partnerships in the US market, building relationships with clients and ensuring our services not only meet but exceed the dynamic needs of the industry. 🔍 Andres, what does an average day look like for you as Vice President of Strategic Business at Job&Talent?  My day starts with early morning email checks to be aware of any events at our facilities. I lead a morning meeting with the leadership team to set daily goals, prioritize tasks, and develop action plans. Depending on the week, things can look very different - I could be traveling, at a client site, or working from home. I’ll check in with site managers on KPIs to ensure operational needs are met, and provide coaching accordingly. 🤝 How do you build strong relationships with clients in your role managing the UPS account for the US market? Trust is the foundation of strong relationships. Maintaining open communication, transparency, and consistent execution is the key to developing and keeping that trust alive. There will always be challenges, but owning mistakes and learning from them demonstrates you can be a reliable partner. 📈 How do you create strategies that not only drive the business forward but also ensure client satisfaction? It is important to work with diverse talent and utilize the team’s abilities, knowledge, and expertise. Each individual brings something unique and critical to the table. Embracing ideas from teammates who are deeply immersed in the field while working together with the client to resolve specific challenges is the winning formula, every time. We identify issues together and come up with solutions together. 💡What advice would you give to someone aspiring to step into a strategic leadership role? 1. Embrace the uncomfortable. I see two core challenges at the moment. Firstly, macroeconomic conditions and fluctuating consumer spending are creating headwinds, contracting demand for staffing services. However, this is cyclical and expected to recover. Secondly, clients have been using the same staffing methods for decades, making it challenging for them to embrace new technologies. On the other hand, we believe that opportunities significantly outweigh challenges. The lack of innovation over the past 50 years offers enormous opportunities for new value propositions. Despite challenges in some sectors, the market's size and wide fragmentation allow the right player to capture a large part of the market. 📈 How does Job&Talent support the US economy, and where where do you see the greatest opportunity of contributing further? Job&Talent employs over 100,000 temporary workers in the US annually, serving key sectors of the US economy like logistics, manufacturing, and retail.
