We're seeing the first signs of veraison in our vineyards in Paso Robles! This is when red wine grapes change color. 🍇 Pictured here are our Syrah grapes, which happen to be one of the first varieties we start picking during harvest. Syrah makes a medium-sized cluster, and the dark skins help create the beautiful dark purple hue, contributing to the well-balanced tannins in most Paso Robles #Syrah. Syrah, like it does in its native northern Rhône, can in #PasoRobles, produce serious, long-lived wines. #JLohr #JLohrWines
