A smaller university with a large appetite for technology, innovation and research, Dakota State University is using its new Madison Cyber Labs (MadLabs) to change the digital world. The 38,500 sf, 13-lab innovation space completed in 2019 — one of the only cyber research facilities of its kind in the US — is the melting pot and breeding ground for collaborative business and engineering problem-solving. 🖥️ Learn more about our Higher Education studio here: https://lnkd.in/gqSicJaT

Last week, JLG's Tracy Jordre, Nicole Washburn, and Jenna Leerssen put their grill skills to the test for a great cause at the 5th Annual EagleRidge Plaza Rib Competition in Fargo! With inflatable games and live music from Kissing Company, we enjoyed every bite of ribs, side dishes, and delicious desserts, including Nicole's famous banana pudding. Thanks to everyone who came together to support the EagleRidge Legacy Fund, providing scholarships for students pursuing careers in the construction trades! Congratulations to this year's winners! 1st Place: Heyer Engineering 2nd Place: Custom Graphics People's Choice Best Rib: Edgewood in Fargo People's Choice Best Side: NAU Country

JLG’s Ron Griebel and Jacob Ricke were honored to join over 400 people for a community dinner and ribbon-cutting celebrating the new Flandreau Fire Station in South Dakota! Our team was proud to lead the milestone design of their new, state-of-the-art facility that unites all the station’s equipment under one roof for the first time, providing a safer facility for local volunteers and faster response times for emergency calls. As Fire Chief Don Peters told the Moody County Enterprise, “Future firefighters will be proud to call the new facility home,” adding that the building marks the beginning of a new chapter in the community’s commitment to safety and service. It may be July, but today is all about the excitement of June's groundbreaking for the NDSU Bolley Agricultural Laboratory in Fargo. JLG, in association with Clark & Enersen, is thrilled to lead the design of this dynamic facility – helping NDSU continue to innovate, educate, research, test, solve, and grow for the betterment of North Dakota and the world. Construction is already underway overlooking agricultural plots on the west edge of campus, getting ready to provide NDSU researchers, faculty, and students with the space, equipment, and technology to drive thriving education and innovation. This is good work for North Dakota... and a great time to be a Bison!
