✨ 𝗝𝗔 𝗦𝗽𝗼𝘁𝗹𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁 ✨ Kelsey Dice, our Manager - Student Experiences, is celebrating her 2nd anniversary working at JA! Kelsey manages K-12 programs and volunteers across the Sioux Empire Region and takes the lead with middle school programming in Sioux Falls and Harrisburg. Kelsey also spearheads JA Councils in the Sioux Empire. Meet Kelsey and join us in celebrating her milestone! 𝗙𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮𝘁 𝗝𝗔: My favorite part about working at Junior Achievement is our partnership with people across South Dakota who understand the importance of ensuring that the next generation feels supported and empowered to create a brighter future for themselves and their community. 𝗢𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗮𝗯𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗝𝗔: I think volunteers underestimate how impactful it is for students to have an adult from their community come in and speak with them about how what they are learning in the classroom will be used in their adult lives. When I hosted JA in my classroom as a teacher, it was so fun to see the relationships the students built with their volunteers and how they started to make the connections between what we were learning in the classroom to what they were experiencing outside of school. 𝗙𝗮𝘃𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗯𝗯𝘆 𝗼𝘂𝘁𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸: Outside of work, I love either diving into a good book or heading out onto the water for some paddleboarding. 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗽𝗶𝗲𝗰𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗮𝗱𝘃𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗝𝗔 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗸𝗻𝗼𝘄: I want our JA students to know that they have so many people who are in their corner who want them to succeed. It’s incredible to see how many people across the state who take the time out from their busy lives to go into the schools to teach a JA program in the classroom. Help us show Kelsey some love and appreciation in the comments! ⬇️ #EmpoweringStudents #InspiringYoungMinds #StudentSuccess #Education #StudentLife #EducationMatters #JASD #JuniorAchievement

At our hands-on JA Finance Park experience, students explore various budget categories, make real-life financial decisions, and develop the skills they need to navigate their financial futures confidently. ✨ Here’s what one of our students had to say about their experience: 📣 "I liked going from station to station learning about the different budget categories and how to prepare for my future." We are so proud to see the positive impact this program is already having on our students, empowering them with the knowledge and skills to achieve their dreams.
