💥New episode of ‘Syz the Future’ podcast released💥 Samson Mow joined me in our Syz Capital studios to discuss a subject that has given me concern for some time: Central Bank Digital Currencies. We discuss how they will be accepted by the broad population for convenience, but will come with hazardous risks concerning privacy infringement, social credit scores and a dystopian future that could look something like an episode of 'Black Mirror'. The goal of this podcast has been to gauge potential directions that can be taken concerning world issues or emerging technologies in order to steer a well-informed path forward into our future and capital allocation. The subject of #CBDCs fits squarely within that framing, and rushed decisions by unqualified bureaucrats could see disastrous outcomes. As parents and leaders, it is our responsibility to be educated on these matters and to provide input for discussion and debate to our governments.
