This #InternationalDayofCharity, we’re proud to highlight our partnership with Ronald McDonald House Charities, an organization we’ve been supporting each year since 2021, as it continues to be voted Invesco’s North America Charity of the Year by employees. In that time, Invesco has provided more than $1 million in donations and countless volunteer opportunities for colleagues in locations near local RMHC chapters. Here are some of the ways local teams in our Atlanta, Dallas, Downers Grove, Houston, New York, Charlottetown and Toronto offices have supported RMHC since 2021: ➡ Community service. Invesco employees have provided more than 2,000 hours of support to RMHC, featuring unique activities focused on mental health awareness, diversity, equity and inclusion and Earth Day. ➡ Care kits. Offices have partnered with their local RMHC chapter on various kit-making activities, delivering more than 1,000 essential care kits to families in need. ➡ Messages of support. RMHC families and staff have been uplifted by Valentines and Mother’s Day messages as well as general cards of encouragement from employees to comfort them during challenging times. ➡ Lunch and learns. Invesco Cares chapters across North America have hosted events to connect Invesco employees with their local RMHC chapters to hear about its mission and core programs. ➡ Stocking the shelves. Employees have purchased most-needed items, including dry goods, paper products, cleaning supplies and toiletries and wellness items for local chapters. ➡ Meals. Volunteers have created to-go meal kits, and cooked and served meals for staff and families at locations across North America. We're thrilled to welcome Shannon Johnston to Invesco as Chief Information and Operations Officer! Reporting to President and CEO Andrew Schlossberg, Shannon will be a senior managing director and will serve on the firm's Executive Leadership Team when she joins on Sept. 23.
