High school students from across the country visited Invenergy's Chicago headquarters as part of the University of Chicago's Young Innovators Program (YIP)! These future leaders participated in an engaging panel with Invenergy employees across key sectors, like development, operations, engineering, and, Reactivate, an Invenergy company. The panelists answered students' questions on various topics, including project siting, environmental permitting, green hydrogen, AI, and more. Invenergy employees spent their Volunteer Time Off (VTO) at WACA Bell Park in Chicago, working alongside Trust for Public Land (TPL) to continue transforming this beautiful community space! 🌻 From pulling weeds to planting new greenery, our employees have had the pleasure of seeing how far the park has come since starting the project with TPL last year. What used to be a bare site is now a vibrant community gathering place with colorful plants, a stage, and seating areas – thanks in large part to the dedication of the volunteers. We are proud to be part of WACA Bell Park’s transformation and remain committed to investing in the communities where we live and work.

We are excited to announce that Invenergy has entered a three-year partnership with GRID Alternatives - a nonprofit organization driving environmental justice and economic advancement through renewable energy solutions. We have been working closely with GRID Alternatives since 2021, and are pleased to now collaborate with them on supporting workforce development within Tribal communities and advocating for more representation of women in the solar industry. Invenergy is proud to announce the start of commercial operations at the Walnut Bend Solar Energy Center in partnership with Entergy Arkansas. This 100-megawatt solar facility is our first developed project in Arkansas and will provide clean, reliable energy to power 61,000 American homes.
