This early exposure instilled a deep understanding of the industry's intricacies and the value of hard work. During and after college, Joe ventured into drilling rigs and then into sales where he honed his skills in sales strategy development and execution. Recently Joe has transitioned into directional services, starting with MWD services and progressing into running Rotary Steerable. This allowed a new focus on new customer development and retention, emphasizing personalized service tailored to meet each client's unique needs. Now, as the Sales & Marketing Manager for Intrepid, his goal is to cultivate transparent partnerships where the success of our clients is equally prioritized alongside our own. Many of you know Kevin Ho, who has been a dedicated member of the Intrepid team since February of 2017. Kevin's wife, Nancy, has been courageously battling cancer. Nancy's fight has been a difficult journey for the Ho family, both emotionally and financially. Welcome Brian McNutt to the Intrepid Directional Drilling Specialists Family! Brian, a native Texan hailing from Cypress, TX, boasts a proud lineage tracing back to Major Robert Brice McNutt of the Texas Revolution Army. After obtaining a BS in Marketing from McNeese State University, Brian distinguished himself as Captain and garnered All-American honors in football. Transitioning into the realm of education, Brian found fulfillment as a teacher and coach for seven years, spanning both high school and collegiate levels. His foray into the Oil and Gas industry commenced in Directional Field Operations, gradually advancing into coordinating and managerial positions over the course of 14 years. Brian and his wife are blessed with a 14-year-old daughter, a 12-year-old son, an 8-year-old Golden Retriever, and a 2-year-old Bernese Mountain Dog. They share a profound love for outdoor escapades, frequently indulging in camping and kayaking. The Introducing Our Newest Team Member – Colby Wark, Operations Manager for Intrepid Directional Drilling Services! We are thrilled to welcome Colby Wark to the Intrepid family! Colby grew up on his grandparents’ working cattle ranch in Central Oregon and spent his free time hunting, fishing and playing sports. Baseball took him to Louisville, Ky where he pitched for the Cardinals and studied Sports Administration and Marketing. In 2010, Colby began his career as a third generation Oil & Gas Professional. The first seven years of his career were spent with directional drilling service companies and the last seven years have been spent in various positions with major oil and gas operators where he gained valuable experience and perspective. Colby is excited to join Intrepid – a company with a rich history and bright future – and return to the directional drilling service side of the industry where his true professional passion lies. Outside of work, he love spending time with his wife Abigail and their kids – JW, Betty, Clyde and Birdie Jo. He still enjoy hunting and fishing and in whatever time he has left, he does yard work. Colby's grown a special preoccupation with trying to edge the perfect lawn perimeter and maintain green grass. Both of these goals, especially the latter, still evades him.
