Insights from Our Latest Poll: Measuring Product-Led Growth Success We recently conducted a poll to understand which metric our network finds most crucial for measuring the success of a Product-Led Growth (PLG) strategy. Here are the results: Retention Rate emerged as the clear leader, with a significant 60% of respondents highlighting it as the most critical metric. This underscores the importance of keeping users engaged and satisfied over time, ensuring they continue to find value in the product. Monthly/Weekly Active Users came in second, garnering 30% of the votes. This metric is key to understanding user engagement and the product’s ability to maintain consistent usage. Net Promoter Score (NPS), a measure of customer satisfaction and loyalty, was chosen by 10% of participants. A strong NPS indicates that users are not only satisfied but also likely to recommend the product to others, driving organic growth. Surprisingly, User Acquisition Rate received 0% of the votes. While acquiring new users is essential, this result suggests that our community values long-term engagement and satisfaction over initial acquisition metrics. Microsoft Outage Resolved: CrowdStrike Update Causes Global "Blue Screen of Death" Recently, a major glitch in Microsoft Windows 10 systems worldwide was traced back to an update issued by CrowdStrike, a leading cybersecurity firm. The update caused systems to restart or shut down automatically, leading to widespread disruption. Major companies, including Dell Technologies, confirmed that this issue stemmed from the CrowdStrike update.
