Each summer, we partner with James Madison University (JMU) to send groups of students to New Zealand and Australia for immersive internships in a variety of fields. 👏 Not only do students have access to quality internship placements, on-site support, and exciting excursions, but they also get to participate in our comprehensive Bridging Cultures Orientation! NEW PROGRAM ALERT 🔥 We're a few weeks into an incredible strategic program with The University of the South (Sewanee) custom-made for students in the school's firefighter training program. 👨🚒👩🚒 🇨🇷 Sewanee's future firefighters traveled to San José, Costa Rica, where they've been touring the country, engaging in service-learning, eating yummy local food, and getting valuable hands-on training! 🚒 A highlight of the trip so far has been the group's visit to the Santa Ana Fire Station, a station in a rural area that covers a large population, where the students formed a strong connection to the community. 💜 We're grateful to Sewanee for their dedication to education abroad for every student, including those who might not otherwise have time to go abroad.
